For my calendar, I was inspired as I was signing up for my yoga class online. There was an interesting picture on the site that sparked the thought about how I could get images of people in many different yoga poses in multiple places in nature.

To begin the calendar, I started with the master page where I added a picture box at the top followed by a text box for the name of the month right below it. Underneath the text box, I created a table with seven columns with the names of the week and six rows, which would make up the numbers for the days of the month. Once I started filling in the pictures for each month, I realized that one picture for each month wouldn't be enough because the images fit into the box awkwardly. I then decided to use three pictures, each outlined with a three-point stroke for each month.

Next to the name of the month and the year, there was still too much space left over. This is where I put an inspirational quote that was somewhat related to yoga. I actually got a few of the quotes from the yoga studio that I go to because they have a ton of quotes posted on the walls. I chose to use the same font for the quotes as the name of the month and the year because they looked good together. I used a different font for the days of the month and for the holidays in a few of the days. I am very happy with the results of this calendar and I actually might end up finishing it and printing it off for myself or a friend for next year!
